[Super Mario bros Z ep 6 (old series)]

It was well done, but flawed

im trying to get more into really breaking down movies i see. this is definitely a "complete" movie and for that i greatly applaud you. however, that being said, I still felt that some the animation was stiff, try to really make it flow and move fluid, try not to use images as much, try making your own images and maybe pixelizing them to match. One thing that particularly bothered me, the star part, sure the 1 up mushroom was fine and dandy, but he wakes up at a time where the island just happened to be in great danger and a question box was a convenient distance away containing a star. it could have been just a coin or something, but a star just right there? at that particular time... just the chance of that happening seems awfully slim, try to avoid that kind of situation next time. but as i said, well done you entertained me, and that is good

I'll be harsh because I want to...
first off i never laughed... let alone smile... the sounds got repetitive and annoying that I wanted to shoot myself... oh well... 2nd. spend some time working on actually animating something interesting for god sakes... the amy joke was old the 2nd time but no you pulled it out 4 more times... and you say 10 got cut? damn... well the fact that you center this around sonic was a good concept... but you did nothing romotely interesting to the game or the characters... it was so random it wasn't funny... at all... the mickey mouse and mario?... no... just no... and the random ground shaking and and falling... lame... think of something origanal... you can be random.. god knows i love it when its in context... look at some of blordows work for an example... its hillarious... but yours just wasn't funny...
don't quit... but dont make anymore of these unless its actually funny...

Coming from a fellow sprite animator...

you should be proud of the score you got. with most people its hard to keep the attention of the audience now adays with sprite movies this one did quite well.

I liked how you have a multiple story thing going, that being said I also hate using sega or nintendo sprites with each other because the styles clash but I suppose you cant do anything about that...

I was a little bummed how there was more diologue then action... try to avoid that in the next movie.

I did want to have a fight scene in it but I didn't have enough room to fit it in. I work at 24fps. so it's much easier to reach my 16k frame limit.
But i'm glad you like it anyway.

It was alittle over the top with the amy laughing crap but other then that bravo I loved it

Linkin park, i love them awesome song good pick on that, next time elaborate more on the fight it seemed like it was just getting started and BAM fights over... build it up more. work on your tweens practice proper proportions and smoothness. good job over all though I hope to see more. you guys definetly proved your point and then some... damn he was so shocked it was funny as hell, this is coming from the guy that made chaos with him... god that was the worst movie i made... and he did NOTHING... and still he stamped his name on it...
keep it up... hopefully he'll animate with some effort next time...
